Exciting experiences await you at Kennedy Heights Arts Center this summer! We invite you to take part in one of our fun and creative arts camps for youth ages 5-13.

Express Yourself – Summer arts experience for ages 5 and 6
July 7 - 11
9:30 am - 2:30 pm
Camp fee: $25
Our youngest campers will enjoy a variety of arts experiences throughout this one week session. Each camper will be encouraged to “EXPRESS YOURSELF” through sculpture, painting, performance art and much more! The small group environment and nurturing staff creates a perfect setting for the beginning artist or the very young professional to create extraordinary artwork at the Kennedy Heights Arts Center.
Journey of Discovery – Dramatic arts camp for ages 7-9
June 30 – July 11 (no camp on July 4)
Mondays – Fridays, 9:30 am - 2:30 pm
Camp fee: $50
Instructors: Robin Hartman and Kate Wilford
Dragon-lovers unite! Relive the medieval times when kings, queens, princes and princesses ruled the land! This exciting and creative dramatic arts camp will explore puppet making, costume making and set design combined with drama, character development and stage presence. The camp will culminate in one amazing performance on Friday, July 11. “Four Gallant Sisters” will be performed on our stage by the campers at the end this 2-week camp session.
Let Yourself Blossom – Multi-disciplinary arts camp for youth ages 10-13
June 9 – July 3
Mondays – Fridays, 9:30 am – 2:30 pm
Camp fee: $50
Instructors: Omope Carter Daboiku, Natalie Hager, Arynn McCandless, Baba Charles Miller, Bet Stewart
Join other local youth in exploring the arts and our community this summer. You will experience different forms of art such as painting, drawing, poetry, photography, drama, story telling, music and more. Campers will enjoy making new friends while strengthening others at the Arts Center.

KHCC SCHOLARSHIPS
The Kennedy Heights Community Council is sponsoring four Arts Camp scholarships for neighborhood youth. Youth ages 10-13 who live in Kennedy Heights, are committed to their community, interested in art, and have financial need are invited to apply.
