The KENNEDY GUILD
What is it?
Its 3-fold Mission:
to solicit and maintain membership of established and emerging artists in all artistic disciplines who meet the standards set by the Kennedy Guild
to provide a fine quality gallery ( the Art Shop) in which to display members' works for sale at reasonable prices
to encourage and promote artistic creativity in its members.

Art Samples, minimum of 3 per medium, are to be brought with the application plus a non-refundable fee of $10 to the Arts Center for review by the Guild Screening Committee. Questions? Contact Helen
Screening: The Committee looks for originality in the work from design through production. Jewelry is to be created by the artist either in the setting or in the components or both. The committee is also mindful of the need for a balance of media and/or subject matter in the operation of the Art Shop where members' work is displayed.
Notification: Applicants will be notified within two weeks of submission of work.
Membership
There are 3 levels of Guild Membership
Active with Perks: $50 Annual Dues
- Sell in Guild Art Shop
- Participate in Guild Shows
- Advance notice of non-Guild Exhibitions

Requires 24/hrs/year volunteer service
Associate with fewer perks: $85 Annual Dues
- Sell in Guild Art Shop

Supporting Member: $25 Annual Dues

Cannot sell in Guild Art Shop
Cannot participate in Guild Exhibitions
Sales: Artist receives 70% of the sale price; 30% is retained by the Arts Center to help defray operating costs. artists will be paid once/month of items sold in the previous month. Artists do not pay sales tax.
Volunteer Service Opportunities:
- Indoors : Art Shop management/sales/décor; office help; show installation, wall preparation;class aide or instructor
- Outdoors : gardens, lawn, weeding
